Front Nine

1

hole

A straight par 5 with a well-placed tee shot setting up a chance to reach the green in two.

The creek must be negotiated from the tee as it runs across the entire width of the hole.

hole

A delightful medium length par 4 with a carry over the creek required off the tee onto a fairway that snakes its way to the green.

Do not be fooled by the length of the hole – it is definitely not a driver hole.

hole

A straight ahead par 4 with the only real danger off the tee being the OOB on the right.

A short par 5 with danger down both sides of the fairway – if you miss the fairway on either side, getting home in 2 is out of the question.

A draw off the tee is definitely an advantage as the hole turns right to left most of the way to about 80m short of the green.

The longest of the par 3’s on the course and this will really test you if played into the northerly.

The longest of the par 5’s with the first half of the hole playing uphill. The further right you can be on the fairway the easier the 2nd shot.

A straight ahead par 4 with very little danger if you hit your drive on the fairway.

Do not be fooled by the length of the shortest par 3 on the course.

A reachable par 4 for the long hitters and a hole where position off the tee is far more important than length.

One of the few truly blind tee shots on the course where the fairway beginning about 200m from the green is not visible.

A hole which will relinquish a birdie to 2 well struck shots and the occasional eagle.

The longest of the par 4’s on the men’s course, which is why it is indexed number one on the card.

The last of the par 3’s and a challenging green to hit because the front right is protected by a bunker whilst shots coming in from the left will not run up the rise onto the green.

Heading back to the clubhouse now and the ideal line is at the right edge of the clubhouse with a controlled draw.

Visitors are warmly welcome to join us. Competition days are Tuesdays and Saturdays for women, Thursdays for the Men and Women Open Competition, and Saturdays for men.
