The longest of the par 4’s on the men’s course, which is why it is indexed number one on the card. The 3 catchment dams for the courses irrigation run almost the entire length of this hole – down the left behind the line of gums trees you can see from the tee. A drive down the left half of the fairway is ideal as this keeps the tree branches encroaching on the right edge of the fairway out of play. The green is one of the largest on the course and has two levels with a small rise across the middle of the green. There are no bunkers on this hole as the length and the water more than make up the difficult of this hole.
